I've got the same case and love it. The only thing missing in the world of HTPC's is decent PVR functionality in XBMC. I know you can browse a mythtv server through some strange folder tree, but I've never been a fan of it(hence why I'm running windows media center at the moment). Also, I could never get the premade lircd.conf files to work so I always ended up coding my own. One thing of note I found while doing that, is the volume knob actually functions through lirc. Good work though, I'll definitely reference here when I get Linux finally back onto that machine.

I've got the Harmony 550. I bought it refurbished (half-price) about a year ago from Amazon. As for the XBMC skin, I think I use Confluence. It's whatever the new default one is.

I never knew you were much of a cook... but looking back, you made some pretty good chili and case-a-dillas. But a ham? Damn!

What you need to do is hurry up and graduate so you can start working on those important projects like coffee breaks and lunch. You know the Field Hand and the Barnyard Special are calling your name.

By the way. . . 2 days!
